Our Return Policy

If you have any problem with your purchase please let us know. We cannot accept returned sales which have been altered, cut, milled, etc. from original sales state. We will strive to ensure our customer satisfaction.

JD Lumber is committed to providing a positive shopping experience for our customers and offers a 30‐day return policy. We do our best to accommodate our customers’ returns,including but not limited to the policy below.

Returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase if the product is in good, “like new," sell-able condition and in the original packaging. Used, faded or weather‐damaged materials are generally not eligible for returns.

Refunds are issued in method of payment that was used for the purchase through Shopify. There are exceptions and company checks may be issued at our discretion due to banking policies and limited cash on hand; more information below:

  • Purchased with a credit card – we will credit the card that was used for purchase.
  • Purchased with cash – we will make a cash refund of up to $100 if we have funds available in cash. If we are unable to issue a cash refund, we will mail the original purchaser a check for the refund within 14 days.
  • Purchased with a debit card – a refund check will be mailed to the cardholder who made the purchase within 14 days.
  • Purchased with a check – a refund check will be mailed to the customer who made the purchase within 21 days. Checks have additional bank restrictions and we will execute a refund as quickly as possible.

To start a return, you can contact us at jd@jdlumberco.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
